Singapore · Premium Pet Food Brokerage
Kintara Trade is a specialist brokerage focused on connecting exceptional international pet food brands with Singapore’s curated retail landscape — with clear expectations, thoughtful positioning, and practical execution.
I work with two groups of people: founders and commercial leaders at premium pet food brands exploring Singapore, and local retailers who want to future‑proof their assortment with differentiated, high‑quality products.
What I Do
I don’t manage warehouses or hold inventory. Kintara Trade stays intentionally lean so I can focus on what matters most: understanding what each side needs, then shaping introductions and agreements that are practical, transparent, and built to last.
I start by understanding the brand’s proposition and the retailer’s assortment strategy — formats, price bands, regulatory requirements, logistics constraints, and margin expectations.
Together, we shape a realistic way to test the Singapore market: pilot volumes, merchandising expectations, basic launch narrative, and how success will be measured on both sides.
I help coordinate discussions, documentation and next steps between brand and retailer, then stay close enough to refine terms as real‑world data comes in.
Explore Singapore with a grounded view of the market. I help you understand the retail landscape, typical expectations, and where your brand might sensibly sit — before you over‑extend.
Get access to emerging, premium brands without additional noise. I focus on clarity: what the brand stands for, how it performs elsewhere, and what it would take to trial it properly here.
I’m comfortable saying “not yet” or “not a fit”. The goal is not volume of introductions, but thoughtful matches that respect the time and attention of everyone involved.
Why Kintara
“The best outcomes happen when both sides feel heard, not sold to.”
I’m Isabelle, and I founded Kintara Trade to bring together two parts of my career: ecommerce and FMCG commercial work on one side, and a long‑standing interest in the pet category on the other. I’ve sat in operator seats where growth targets are real, shelves are finite, and decisions have to balance story and margin.
That experience shapes how I run Kintara. I care about how a brand will actually live on a Singapore shelf or category page: what the shopper sees, how the numbers need to work, and what it feels like for a team to support the launch alongside everything else already on their plate.
